About the property
We are an interracial married couple hosting students from different countries for 17 years now. My husband is Canadian and I'm Filipina.
*ENGLISH is the only language spoken in our home.*
We have one single room upstairs for one student and the other 4 newly-renovated bedrooms are located on the ground floor. One of the bedroom is for shared accomodation or it can be converted into a private room with no meals as it got it's own small kitchen which the student can use to cook their own food. The washroom and the laundry facilities are shared by the other students. All of the student bedrooms have windows and are bright. Each room has big closet, study desk, and internet access.
We offer 3 meals a day and we have dinner with our students every night as a family. Two meals a day (breakfast and dinner) is also offered depending on your needs.
We live in a One Zone area and our house is 1 minute walk to the 29th Avenue Skytrain station that will lead you to downtown Vancouver in 15 minutes. We are close to Slocan Park, Renfrew Community Centre, and the library. We are also 3 Skytrain stations away from Metrotown Mall in Burnaby, for all your shopping needs.
My husband's hobby is fishing. I love to cook and bake cookies and cakes. And I find shopping (window shopping) very relaxing.
- 3 meals plan: 1030 CAD per 4 weeks
- 2 meals plan: 915 CAD per 4 weeks
- Damage deposit is 300 CAD, will be refund when student move out without any damage.
Extra charge for quarantine: 25 CAD per day
